Ann-Cathrin and Sigurd owns Lysvoldbrygga. They live and work in Oslo, but are often in Henningsvær to help with the house. Their son Niels live at Lysvoldbrygga and runs the place. He greets the gests, makes breakfast and can advise visitors about the surrounding area. Lysvoldbrygga dispose a sauna and boat for the guest.

 

The house was built in 1870 and was originally a sleeping place for the fishers. We bought the house in September 2015, it was then in very bad condition. Since then, Lysvoldbrygga has gone through a total renovation and was reopened July 2016. We have kept some of the original details, such as the color of the house and woodwork.

Lysvoldbrygga have four bedrooms: three rooms with a double bed and one room with two single beds. There are two rooms and one bathroom on each floor. All room share bathrooms. In the common areas you can either relax in the TV lounge or in the sofa in front of the fireplace. During low season (January-May and September-December) it is possible to use the kitchen. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00. We do not allow dogs inside.
